| Methods | A case report of a 30-year-old male with AIDS and pulmonary tuberculosis who developed acute bilateral panuveitis. The patient's medical history, clinical presentation, laboratory investigations, and treatment course were reviewed. |
| Results | The patient presented with decreased visual acuity and ocular inflammation. Despite extensive workup, including aqueous analysis, no intraocular infectious etiology was identified. Following discontinuation of rifabutin and initiation of corticosteroids, the patient's symptoms resolved, and no recurrence was observed during the follow-up period. |
| Conclusion | Drug-induced uveitis should be considered in HIV-positive patients with panuveitis, especially when other common infectious causes have been excluded. Prompt recognition and appropriate management can prevent vision loss and improve patient outcomes. |
