| Title | Ibrutinib-related uveitis: A case series from two tertiary centres in the United Kingdom |
| Purpose | Ibrutinib is a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is licensed for treatment of low-grade B-cell malignancies. A Few case reports in the literature suggest that uveitis may be a side effect of ibrutinib treatment. |
| Methods | We report nine cases of ibrutinib-related uveitis from two tertiary centres in the United Kingdom. |
| Results | In our case series, uveitis appears to be a type D, or delayed drug reaction of ibrutinib. The uveitis can be anterior, intermediate, posterior or panuveitis and associated with cystoid macular oedema. It can range in severity from mild, to severe and vision threatening. |
| Conclusion | Ibrutinib related uveitis appears to be more common than previously recognised. |
