IOIS 2023: Thank You !
The IOIS committee would like to thank all those involved with the 2023 congress, including our speakers, sponsors and colleagues for sharing their time and insights during the 17th meeting of the International Ocular Inflammation Society and 7th International Assembly of Ocular Inflammation Societies, which was be held in Berlin from 6-9 September 2023.
We welcomed over 700 participants from 70 countries. The presentations were of a high calibre and all sessions were well attended. So far, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, which is very encouraging and we look forward to start preparing the 2025 Meeting.
Meet the new Executive Board
During the IOIS 2023 congress the elections for the new IOIS Executive Board were held. We thank the outgoing board members for their commitment in servicing for two terms (2015-2019 / 2019-2023) and we welcomed the new elected board members.

IOIS 2023 EACCME Accredited
"The 17th International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) Congress, Berlin, Germany, 06/09/2023-09/09/2023 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 22 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”
“Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

EACCME® credits
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 9 and 23 of UEMS 2016.20.
HOW to claim your Accreditation?
- Log into your IOIS account through the login panel (see footer of the IOIS website), you will need your email address and password. If you dont have your password or forgot your password, just enter your email address and click "forgot password". An email will be send to you to (re)set your password.
- Once logged in click on the green button"My Account" Select "My CME" from the dropdown menu - you will see a download file.
Certificates of Attendance.
Registered participants can now download a IOIS 2023 Certificate of Attendance through their IOIS account.HOW?
