| Purpose | Presentation of a rare case of a 7 yr old girl with rod-cone dystrophy that presented with acute diminution of vision due to acute onset of intermediate uveitis with CME, disc edema, vitritis and retinal vasculitis |

| Results | Patient was referred for genetic work-up and started on systemic immunomodulatory therapy for management of her uveitis and preserve her tubular vision | 
| Conclusion | Inherited retinal dystrophy can be associated with non-infectious ocular inflammation in the form of intermediate uveitis that benefits from systemic immunosuppression |
