Introduction
Retinal vasculitis is a common complication related to ocular inflammation. Vascular occlusions, ischemia or infarction of tissues, and other retinal complications (e.g., macular edema, serous retinal detachment) may occur as consequences, let to patients' visual impairments. Promptly differentiating the etiologies and managing it appropriately are crucial. In 2022, the Taiwan Ocular Inflammation Society gathered ten uveitis expertts from all areas in Taiwan. A comprehensive literature review was performed and a consensus for diagnosing and managing retinal vasculitis was formed. In this session, we will review the general concept and epidemiology of retinal vasculitis, demonstrate various interesting cases, and share our consensus to the auditors.
